Macro Lily – Day 417 (2010-06-05)
Playing around with my new (second hand) Tamaron 90mm Macro, from all accounts a very highly regarded and sharp lens. So i have been doing all the standard things like close up shots of plants and flowers etc. The hardest part is getting the cats to stay still long enough. I should be about to take a shot with nothing but a cats eye filling the frame showing all the details of the Iris. Just getting them still long enough to focus on the right area as well as getting the lighting right to show the detail up is a tough gig.
